I have so much to be thankful for. I really do. God has blessed me beyond words – beyond all that I could ask or imagine. I could never keep it all to myself – like Abram I need to share the blessings that have been given me. To give back, be a blessing, be an inspiration to those who are in need. Those who have done for me – I know that people have been on their knees praying for me this past year – I know the Lord has heard your prayers, He has carried me and I know He will bless you richly. So,I say THANK YOU for being a blessing in my life and may God continue to bless you abundantly.
I love mail. Email and snail mail (except bills – no one like those). And even more I love sending cards – I truly do and this pack is perfect – it comes at just the right time for me to reflect on the past year’s blessings and look forward to the blessings that are to come. There are so many people who have been a blessing in my life and I need to let them know that I am also praying and thinking of them daily. God has made something beautiful out of such horrible circumstances. It will be so awesome to share things like grace, hope, thanks and just pure joy with those who have lifted me up this past year in my struggles.

One of my many blessings last year was to witness my daughter’s return to college. After being homebound for a year because of an unknown illness, she was able to start living again. I thank God for my family’s good health and for all the prayers and cards that showed concern for my daughter.

One of my blessings was TOTALLY FALLING APART. Realizing I was dead and empty, I discovered WHO I WAS IN GOD. Sadly, despite being a Christian for many years, I could never quite grasp that reality. My blessing was in disguise.

How to name just one blessing. in my time of great crisis at the death of my husband of 30 years just 3 years ago tragically I have seen the hand of God provide for me in financial impossibilities. I have a friend who faithfully wrote me old fashioned letters & I her..it was my life line to get cards & letters & gifts in the mail every week Id her 2-3 letters or cards in the mail from her.
I love to write & am starting up a letter writing card ministry..Im worn physically & emotionally but tis is one area I can give to & it gives me joy in remembering the blessing a card or letter can be to someone. A lifeline in their hard time, lonely time etc.. I do both cards & letters !
I have special pens I use im trying to do at least 2 or 3 cards, letters a week to others who need that same blessing.
Im building my stock of cards from dayspring as Im able & won a pack of cards recently but dont have any thank you cards…need to get some of those. very grateful for the ones I do have & finding incourage & dayspring

I am preparing a lesson on encouragement for my Bible study discussion leaders. I came across this post through Incourage. Our theme is “Blessings.” One of my hard blessings this past year was my husband being diagnosed with leukemia. He is only in his 30’s. I am joyful for the opportunity to truly cherish each day with him and not just let life pass us by.

i agree with Debby B. how to express my thankfulness for blessings. To see my 76 yo aunt’s new marriage to an 82 yo neighbor, and her happiness which we had not seen in her first marriage, is perhaps the biggest blessing i can think of today!

I can’t even begin to tell you all the blessings we’ve been given this year. One of them is that our daughter is expecting our first grandchild in just 5 more weeks. She has some health issues and we were concerned about how she might do with the pregnancy, but it’s gone beautifully. 6 years ago I won a 2 year battle with a very aggressive cancer. I’m so thankful that I made it through and am able to see my grandchild. God is so good; even in the tough times there is light.

One blessing from the past year: I’ve struggled with vertigo since last May. Actually, my first bout happened in January 2011. I had another minor bout in March. Then nothing until May 24, 2011 — and have had vertigo nonstop since then.
No, this is not the blessing.
The blessing is God’s faithfulness during this time. I can’t tell you how much I do not want to walk this wobbly road … but God has allowed me to lean on him, to hope in him, to trust him through it. I am thankful for the family and friends he’s provided as encouragers.
